Based on the first RISIS project from 2014-2018, RISIS goes on given the high interest on RISIS datasets and their integration. RISIS2 has started in 2019 and provides ongoing access to the existing RISIS datasets:

RISIS Annual Week 2015

January 26, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - January 29, 2015 @ 1:30 pm

RISIS WEEK took place in Rome January 26-29, 2015.

It had four objectives:

The central objective was to have one privileged moment to discuss about the development of the different activities and discuss future steps. This was group work structured by work package (Tuesday 27 afternoon and Wednesday 28 morning).

A second objective was to provide a broader view about what the project is doing and where it is going (Monday 26 afternoon), and to discuss transversal issues (3 groups Tuesday 27 morning).

A third objective was to offer time to see the different datasets in detail through demos (Wednesday 28 afternoon).

Finally, we have been asked to provide space for specific sessions. Thursday 29 morning was devoted to these sessions (and if needed pursuing work for some Work packages). It was followed by an open debate with our Project Review Board (PRB). We have hold in the same day the meeting of the Governing Board (that is overseeing the development of the project).

RISIS WEEK venue is the Centro Congressi Frentani, in Via dei Frentani 4, Rome, very close to the CNR Headquarter, best suited for interactive working and well equipped. Centro Congressi Frentani is located in the heart of Rome, just few steps away from Termini Railway station (main railway station in Rome) and not far away from Tiburtina Station where most Rome public transports are available as well as trains from/to Fiumicino Airport.

How to get to the venue

From the North: Ring-road Exit Tiburtina in the direction of Roma City Centre. Drive along this road up to “La Sapienza” university, piazzale Aldo Moro, the Conference Centre Frentani is at about 200 mt.

From the South: Ring-road Exit Prenestina in the direction of Roma City Centre. Drive along this road in the direction of Rome up to Porta Maggiore, then go in the direction of Termini Station. The Conference Centre is at about 5 minutes.
